I Am Ready and Willing

This one’s a little vulnerable…

I had an opportunity I was genuinely excited about. A certification I wanted to do with my friend Christine. I filled out the application, got the follow-up email—and then got distracted.

Between YouTube videos, client work, and my overloaded to-do list, I told myself I’d finish it “later.”

But later never came. The deadline passed.

And when I realized it, I felt a wave of regret wash over me. I almost went into full spiral: Why didn’t I just do it right away? How could I miss this?

I even had a moment where I blamed the person who sent the email: Why wouldn’t she make an exception for me? It was just one day late!

Then I took a breath.

I remembered that if I want to be the best version of myself, I have to show up as her. Not just dream about her.

So I stopped sulking and sent a message owning my mistake. I asked if the opportunity was still possible. And whether it is or not, I’m proud of how I showed up—because that was the best version of me.

And that’s what I want for you, too.

If you’ve ever caught yourself doing everything but the one thing that would actually move you forward—this is your wake-up call. You can be ready all day long. But nothing changes until you’re also willing.

I’m here to help you bridge that gap. To help you define your best self, build habits that match her energy, and take bold, aligned action. Let’s talk if you’re ready and willing, too.

3 Quotes to Ponder:

“You can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do.”
—Henry Ford

“Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.”
—Tony Robbins

“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.”
—Napoleon Hill

2 Thought Experiments:

1. The Missed Boat
Think of a time you missed something important—not because you didn’t want it, but because you hesitated or delayed.
What version of you would’ve shown up differently? What were they thinking that you weren’t?

2. The ‘Already Her’ Mindset
Imagine you’ve been living as your best self for the last 6 months.
How would that version of you describe today’s decisions, habits, and attitude?
Would they be proud—or pressing pause on Netflix to catch up?

1 Action Step (Journal Prompt):

Describe the best version of yourself. What are three qualities they embody? What are three habits they practice consistently? What’s one thing you can do today to show up as that version?

Remember, I'm here to support you on this journey!

Warmly,

Vickie Poole
