This morning, I shared a simple truth that hits deep:
What I nurture with gratitude grows beyond measure. I am the conscious creator of my destiny.
Powerful, right?
But let’s be real—it can also be confronting.
Because if we’re the conscious creators of our lives… that means the parts we don’t love?
Yep. We created those too.
Not on purpose. Not with malice. But through where we’ve been placing our focus, our energy, and our beliefs.
And that’s actually good news.
Because if you’ve outgrown part of your life—or you’re seeing weeds where you want flowers—you don’t have to wait for someone else to fix it.
You have the power to shift the soil.
To choose new seeds.
To grow something wildly different from what you’ve seen before.
In fact, we did a full visualization on this during the live session. If you missed it, I’ll guide you through the core idea here:
Visualize Your Life as a Garden
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine your life as a garden.
Some areas are blooming—vibrant, lush, alive.
Others might be wilted, dry, tangled in weeds.
Look at those thriving spots.
They reflect where you’ve given your love, energy, and attention.
Now look at the areas that feel neglected.
No judgment. Just notice.
Then ask yourself: What happens if I bring gratitude and care here, too?
When you shift your energy toward appreciation—yes, even for the hard stuff—life responds.
The garden grows.
3 Quotes to Ponder:
“Gratitude turns what we have into enough… and then into more.”
—Melody Beattie
“Where attention goes, energy flows.”
—James Redfield
“You are the gardener of your own soul.”
—Vernon Howard
2 Thought Experiments:
The Garden Audit
What area of your life feels overgrown, untended, or dry?
What would it look like to bring love and attention there, even if nothing changes right away? The Alternate Path
Think of a past decision you sometimes regret.
Now imagine that version of your life did happen. Would you still be you? Would you still know what you know?
How can you bring peace to the path you did choose?
1 Action Step (Journal Prompt):
Where in my life can I focus more appreciation to invite greater growth? And how can I take ownership of my path today with intentional gratitude and action?
Remember, I'm here to support you on this journey!
Warmly,
Vickie Poole
